Producer & Advisor on Life of a Lion, 2017.

  • Short film awarded Best Story from the Tribeca Film Festival’s youth competition, The America I Am

Fellow, IDEX Accelerator & Global Fellowship Program 

January 2016 - June 2016

  • Entirely immersive, I lived in Bangalore, India and worked full time at the social enterprise, Shenomics.

  • Intensive professional fellowship, focused on social entrepreneurship;

    • 1:1 coaching with leading activists, monthly mentoring workshops, curated readings, and professional development challenges (Ashoka Hackaton).

    • Focus areas: human centered design, funding procurement, measuring impact, community and economic development.

    • Community outreach with The Ugly Indian.

    • Portfolio project: Intersectional Feminism in India.

Resident Assistant & Office Aid, 575 Commonwealth Avenue (HOJO)

August 2012 – May 2014

  • Directly supervised about 50 residents by enforcing BU Resident Life policies, developing a healthy community, providing emotional support, mediating conflict resolution, allocating resources, handling emergency situations, & assisting students in every possible way including conflict resolution.

  • Developed events that engaged up to 90 residents in educational, cultural, BU tradition, & community building programs.

  • Worked in Office of Residence Life – handled extensive administrative duties.

  • Awarded for "Outstanding Contributions to the Team.”

New Member Educator, Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Chapter

2013 - 2014

  • Recruited and integrated 65 new members into the fraternity by teaching them our core values of truth, self-sacrifice, and  friendship while instilling the foundations for responsible leadership; 

    • ​Retained 100% of pledge class.

  • Planned & executed events for all 130 members.

  • Came in under budget both semesters by at least $300.

Membership Development Chair, Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Chapter

2012-2013

  • Planned and allocated funds for retreat for all 110 members and came in under budget by over $1000.

  • Ran open chapters meetings for all members and public.

  • Lead modules to develop members by broadening moral and intellectual life, and worked to increase bonding amongst members.

  • Philanthropy Team Member: Raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; Chapter’s total for FY2011-13 $59,764. Not including FY2014.

MCAS Tutor, Match Charter High School

September 2010 - May 2011

  • Met with students and reviewed Math, Language Arts, and Short Composition curriculum to prepare students for the MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System) exam.  

  • Addressed attentiveness and behavioral concerns with students as needed.
